Starting salary: Grade M1/M2
Wessex Water supplies water to 1.3 million people in the south west via a network of more than 97 water sources, 112 treatment plants and 300 service reservoirs and water towers.
This role has been designed to develop and implement the company’s structure and strategy for services provided to supply, and to ensure that the department operates in a safe manner to protect public health. The manager of water supply services will also be responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of the longer term tactical strategy for areas under their responsibility, such as leakage. They will ensure that we have a clear road map with milestones for the next two AMPs and assist the director of water supply in ensuring that priorities are included in annual investment plans.
This role has responsibility for leakage reduction, network operation and regional control.
We’re looking for an experienced leader within an operational or science background. You will have a proven track record of creating and delivering operational strategy, especially in the area of leakage. You will have strong financial and commercial skills and good understanding of the regulated environment.
