Our successful and innovative division, that specialises in the design and manufacture of standard Ozone and UV systems for use in water treatment applications is seeking an UK & Export Sales manager.
The Export Sales manager will be responsible for selling triogen® products to meet with the company’s revenue targets whilst working to the company’s strategic business development plan. The successful candidate will drive and deliver business growth within the assigned territory, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires you to be based for East Kilbride and with frequent travel overseas.
Reporting to the Sales Director, a brief description of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the above role are as follows:
Work within a sales team environment maintaining good communication in a co-operative and professional manner at all levels and with all departments within the company,
Proactively promote equipment solutions and services to key customers through presentations, trade shows and the various other go to market channels,
Work closely with consulting engineers and contractors with specific focus on capital equipment and associated services in wet leisure industry,
Establish personal contact/relationship with all current customers in order to provide account stability and ensure long term business progression,
Ensure sufficient sales activity, territory coverage and future prospect development to achieve set financial targets on a monthly basis,
Prepare proposals and draft sales contracts as required,
Actively follow-up on bids to ensure greatest potential for conversion to orders,
Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business deals whilst strengthening business relationships,
Provide and maintain a high standard of quality for all information being sent to customers to convey an accurate message to the market within the territory,
Participate in defining the sales strategy and sales actions to meet growth plans,
Maintain good current knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth,
Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical advances and report back to senior management. Assist engineering department with ideas to improve products to better suit the market,
Ensure profitability of accounts within assigned area through proper pricing,
Flexibility needed in working hours which is essential to meet customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction,
Understanding of the quality procedures relating to the position.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years proven experience in sales and business development of packaged equipment, preferably for water treatment of recreational water.
Strong sales and marketing skills are essential along with advanced knowledge in all areas of Microsoft Office, excellent organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and drive in the work place.

A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or Chemical preferred),
8-10 years of proven experience in sales,
3-5 years of proven experience in export sales,
Good understanding of packaged process equipment which utilizes pumps, valves, instrumentation, controls and, good understanding of water chemistry,
Excellent communication skills. Possess the ability to write and speak clearly, present ideas and concepts to customers,
Fluent in English; foreign language will be an asset,
Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally,
Valid driving license.
