April 2017 saw a major change in the UK water industry, with non-household customers such as businesses, schools, and charities being able to choose their water and wastewater provider for the first time. As a result of this change we created our Wholesale Services team to take responsibility for the delivery of Southern Water’s wholesale products and services to Retailers. We now have an exciting new position in this team for a Market Planning and Performance Manager.
In this role you’ll be responsible for all performance and management information, oversee our relationship with the new market operator MOSL, and manage data improvement projects. You’ll take the lead on identifying new product and business development projects to enrich Southern Water’s wholesale services offering to retailers. You’ll also be responsible for 2 Data Analysts, including performance management and personal development.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with a strong project management background and exceptional relationship management skills. With previous experience in a regulated industry you’ll be adept at monitoring, managing and reporting compliance activities. You’ll also be able to display advanced data management skills.
During a time of significant change in the industry this is a great opportunity to make a difference. And as this is a brand new position you’ll really be able to make it your own.
